Gathering Steam

As this last class finishes, I need to finalize my dissertation proposal. This is a time where I need to do a limited literature review to support the problem I would like to address. It needs facts, stats, verifiable evidence. It needs attention.

To get things going, I looked to the University of Phoenix library staff to aid me in finding some hard numbers to support my thinking on the training and development needs of the next generation of employees. An adept and professional bunch, I got my reply right away and it was filled with useful areas to go and explore.

Part of me still wishes for  a community of doctoral learners to collaborate with at various levels and find some tips and tricks.

Right now, I am going back and forth with having one of 3 types of research projects: quantitative, qualitative, or mixed. I suspect that as I do some more reading in the next weeks, I will find the right one.

Your thoughts, comments, and wishes are welcome.
